Who is Tite Kubo?

I had some readers query who Tite Kubo is last post.

Let me drop a knowledge bomb on y'all.

Tite Kubo - or Kubo Sensei as he is often referred to (on account of being a master and all...) - is the creator of none other than the uber popular manga series Bleach.

Not only does he make his character designs look like rockstars.

The dude himself looks like a rock star!

I'm hoping my next reader question isn't: "So, uh, what's BLEACH?"

I had my colourist consultation last week with Ryan Kroboth regarding the approach I should take with adding colour to the book, and it was really helpful. I think it has helped to unclog some procrastination.

I'm gonna be repping Bolt Comics at Supanova in Sydney this year, so I'm working on some Hunters Guild merch with my handy dandy badge press. More on this story as it develops.

I'm giving myself until the end of August to finish the inks on Trouble in Treelocke. I know the rate of progress is not ideal but sometimes self care is taking a rest.

What's hitting this week?

2. Riders of Justice.  At our place we like to do 'Sunday Night At The Movies', or SNATM. This was what we watched last sunday. I watched this on Netflix, not sure where else it is available. My advice, dive into this one cold and just enjoy the ride.
3. Hopefully the NSW Blues hitting the Queensland Maroons all over the park for State of Origin game 1! Ah, the annual triumph of hope over experience....
